A recent addition to the menu, the beef pepper fry ($19) at clubby Indian restaurant Gupshup really stands out among a selection of top-notch small plates. The peppery, succulent pieces of beef are best enjoyed enveloped in one of the warm, flaky, malabar paratha triangles the meat is served atop.
